About the Alchemist

Where to begin…My name is Danielle, and I am the alchemist behind the scenes. Fantasy and fiction have always peaked my interest, even as a child. The magical worlds that other people were able to craft and share with others inspired me to be open to creative possibilities! From playing with plants in my friends backyard and “earth bending” to carving wands out of sticks and trying to convince neighborhood cats to be my familiar, I’ve always enjoyed the allure of the magical world. The Journeyman Alchemist was born from the childhood yearning of wanting to fall back in love with life’s magic, mythology, and lore. My love for the mystical and occult sparked my passions for various activities such as baking, crafting, exploring, reading, and writing. And so, while I work on my stories on the side, I am looking to channel my creative energy and passions into this shop! Now, as an adult, I want to spark a creative passion or interest in someone the way so many of my idols did.
